Andy is easy going, easy to deal with, a walking road code, excellent communicator and a patient instructor.
My 17 year old passed his restricted on the first try with Andy’s guidance. We had 6 or 7 lessons which have helped shaped my son’s driving foundation the right way, no doubt. Even i picked up a lot of rules I didn’t know about. Would definitely recommend (and already have) Andy to whomever needs knowledge and confidence with driving NZ roads!
I could not have passed my restricted license test without Andy’s help. He took me through the common routes, showed me tricky spots and situations, and ways to efficiently handle them. I would recommend driving lessons with Andy to anyone wanting to ensure they have the skills to pass.
We booked a couple of sessions for our teenage son, to complement our own teachings, in preparation for the Restricted test. Andy related so well to our son, and made him feel really comfortable. Andy shared excellent tips and techniques, and instilled confidence in our young driver, who went on to pass his Restricted test on the first go. With two more children learning to drive in the coming years, we will definitely be back to see Andy!
