The instructors Josh and Christy were really patient and explained and taught the CDL A program really well to me and all students and effectively answered any and all questions they are a good team as instructors and the program director is really helpful and cares about all the students and overall I had a perfect experience and would suggest anyone trying to get there CDL class A drivers license whether in an automatic or manual transmission that they enroll with ivy tech and get there credential from the 160 driving academy good luck to all the students
I was a student at 160 driver Academy in Kokomo, Indiana. I just passed my state test. Both teachers, Christie and Josh did an excellent job. They had a lot of patients with the students And especially me. I struggled on the yard, but with their help I got it done. By the time I took my State test, I understood how to fix all my maneuverability mistakes and thats what I struggle with the most. They did an awesome job with all the students.
Very good experience at 160 driving academy. When I would struggle with certain things, the instructors would make special time to walk me through it. All the students were also very helpful. Since some students have been there longer than others, they would give advice also. All around great experience that helped me pass my first test and get started with my driving career!
