this school is sooo amazing i miss it soo much!!??! all the teachers are super nice especially my 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade teachers (ms rodriguez, ms jimenez, and mr barbee.)even though the food wasn’t that good, the teaxhers still tought everything u needed to know. i still remember my 5th grade gradutation (which was amazing!!) cuz mr. macias visited for the last day we were ever gonna see him again!!!?? I LOVE 61ST STREET ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!!!??????
Attended this school from 1994 to 1999. I graduated with honors and was only one of two students in the class of 98-99 who received the Principals Honor Roll. The teachers back then were and are good learned from them and still remember all 6 teachers. 2 of my old teachers are still teaching there. Now my son attends this school going on his second school year in first grade.
I still attend to this school and I really love this school last week was the culmination of my partners and friends and Im gonna miss them very much thank you guys so much for the support teachers(mrs.berdeja,ms.ramirez,mrs.mejia,mr.kopeckey,ms.huggins,ms.k,and mr.lopez)??????(by the way Im Jahaira Diaz)
