This is my eighth year at PSOLI. I have no idea where I would be without this place. The amazing staff, my amazing classmates; I’m so happy that my parents found this place. When I was just starting, I was a shy, little four year-old. I was able to read, but not at a very high level, I wasn’t very good with math, and my grammar was TERRIBLE! Now, I am just beginning seventh grade, and in eight years, I have won an academic achievement award from President Obama, I am a near school spelling bee champion, I am on a Lego Robotics team, I am the co-editor in chief in our school newspaper club, I have gone to AUSTRALIA as a student ambassador, and this year I will be taking ninth-grade math! I probably could not have done any of this without Progressive School of Long Island!
I attended this school from 2nd grade to 6th grade and had a wonderful experience there. This school will be great for any student going there because the teachers take the time to help and work with you so you have a chance of doing well. The projects that got assigned were unique, especially the Invention Convention, because they brought out our creativity. The teachers that I had were polite and understanding and the other teachers were nice too whenever I was with them. It is an amazing school because they had fun parties planned for the students to participate in.This school was enjoyable and I miss it. I left the school in June of 2016 and went to another one but I will definitely remember PSOLI fondly. ???? 😉 ~ Rama
