I am very disappointed with the outcome of the program. The program does not prepare you for an entry level HVAC position. You will gain minimum basic book fundamentals only. If you are not already working for a HVAC company you will have a hard time with employment. The program lacks hands on training. Labs are more of an opportunity to look at different equipment. At the end of the program, they offer incentives to students to post 5 stars. The reality of it, if you are looking for hands on training or actually trying to learn HVAC skills, this program is not for you. You will do better finding a HVAC company that provides on the job training and work your way up. There a few companies or unions that have programs more intense.
I really want to thank Chicago Professional Center for teaching a new set of skills. The program was short but very effective. Anyone can learn it as long as one sets their mind to it. The whole staff is professional and nice. I would recommend this school to anyone that wants to learn a new trade and doesn’t want to attend school for a long time. They help you obtain your license in a few months. The staff member Gustavo really helped me find a job after my graduation. He really took into consideration everything I had told him I was seeking in a job. Therefore, I highly recommend this trade school.
