When you go too learn and work on cars and do a trade to learn yes its a pretty decent place, but when you actually want too learn the so called trade your learning and doing hands on with it you dont really do a lot well in the tech part. You do way way more computer work then anything and I understand you have too do computer work but you also are there for the hands on part and when a student or students are there for at least a quarter of the year and you have touched a car 1 time I dont think thats right, the students have worked and built the rc clubs racetrack for the rc cars and done that more hours or days then even touching and doing hands on work in the car tech field. Then you go too set up conferences, you try too set it up and the teacher says we are good we did it on the phone thanks but neither parents ever talked too him isnt that odd? To me it seems odd, ever since Ive been here its just gone down hill with a new teacher all of that. I dont reccomend I would try to find a more hands on and better learning school.
OATC is the only trade school you can go to while you are in high school in olathe with the choice of trade school Services: Auto Technology Program, Automotive Collision Technology, Automotive Technology Program, Cna Classes, Computer Programs, Technical Education, Trades Program, Video Production, Virtual Classes, Welding Program, and Welding Technology
I took the welding technology program. I looked forward to going there every day for my last 2 years in high school. You will be hot and sweaty after the day of working in the shop.
I am giving Olathe Advanced Technical Center 5 stars for the hard work of all the staff that work there and how kind they were to me
