We have been going to Aquatots weekly since 2021 with two kids. We have enjoyed it but we’d thought we’d switch it up for the summer since they haven’t moved levels in over a year. We asked to pause our membership until after the summer and we have a lot of make-up classes so we figured we could use those up until we restart since that was my understanding (never said that this wasn’t an option). They said to call back since they were discussing that policy and it may change (that was on 5/23).

I called back last week to follow-up and they said that you have to be an active member to use make-up classes and if we were to join back, the price would go up $75 a month. I was frustrated since we’ve been paying almost $200 a month for the last few years and now backed into a corner to decide (and lose a lot of make-up classes) since they are figuring out their policies. After discussing, we plan on going somewhere else after the summer.

I think they do a good job but the kids weren’t progressing as much as we’d like to see. The place is clean but it gets very busy and is difficult to find a time that works with two kids at different levels after 5 pm.

It’s been great coming to Aqua Tots! The staff are always friendly and helpful. The coaches are phenomenal. The immediate praise and constructive criticism after the lessons is a boost for both the parents and the kids. I know my son’s confidence is growing, not just in the water but in everything. The communication is great and easy. I love the ability to cancel classes and reschedule makeups, and the means to do it all via the app is such a lifesaver. Because honestly, who hasn’t remembered some appointment that just so happens to be during swim class!? I know I have and it’s usually at 11pm when I can finally think about what the next few days hold. Another cool thing is the consistency between schools, my niece in Indiana knows the same lingo and skills as my son because the instructors are consistent and engaging. Highly recommend…
