This is a great place to learn surfing. I signed my 9-year old twins up for a semi-private lesson. The school provided wetsuits and instructors and a really great experience. Each kid had an instructor. Both instructors were patient, helpful and made sure the kids had a lot of fun. The lessons started at the shop where the kids learned how to get up on the surf board and some basic safety rules. We then headed to Pleasure Point where they started by riding tandem with their instructors. By the end of their lesson, both kids were standing up on their own! The entire lesson was fun and safe. Both kids can’t wait to go back. I would highly recommend getting lessons here.
Second time here! Get to catch some waves on the first time and just want to learn more about surfing! My coach is awesome and give me some helpful tips on how to stand and paddle. Very nice and answer all the questions I have ?? I guess he has to… like the teacher in school. It was very fun and I will definitely come back again soon. Wishing there’s a season ticket so I can come back to learn ever week ???? (surfing board and wetsuit included better to wear surf shoes if you want to avoid cuts or coldness)
