My daughter has been in this school since kindergarten. I love how attentive they are to her and her needs, theirs always a open line of communication between me and her teachers, and if there is any issues they are in contact with you and tackle it head on. They take them on field trips (not this year because of COVID), they are partnered with Empower FCU to teach them about savings, and her second grade teacher Mrs. Badman is a god sent! I chose to get my child out of the district and place her in this charter school so she can be afforded more opportunities. They have smaller classrooms which affords more attention to each child. I love the uniform shirts (a huge money saver for school clothes every year). I will recommend this school to any and everyone! Absolutely LOVE IT HERE!!!
The staff at Citizenship is superb! Their attention to students and their families is like no other when it comes to safety, academics, and so much more. My student has attended citizenship for 3 years now and has loved every single one of their teachers and so have I. My child struggled while in the city schools and I felt they we’re being left behind, and switching her to charter was so very beneficial for her. I love that the school community is small and tight knit, they know us and care to know us. I see how invested they are in my child’s education and it shows. They are well organized and open in their communication with families. I have never had an issue or hiccups with them. I trust them with the care of my child and recommend to anyone I can.
