Teachers are not trained as well as they claim, pertaining to special needs. I guess if your child doesn’t have any delays it’s good, but the special needs teacher doesn’t do anything invigorating for the kids. At the la Puente sunset elementary the teacher there interacted with kids but here she always seems like she had too many sleeping pills or something. No motivation or enthusiasm. But I’m not saying that she has to be a cheerleader, but she reminds me of a sloth. Not physically… But u can tell her care and concern is not there.
Great school!!! Teachers, Assistant Principal, and Principal Mr. Q. They are Kindergarten-Eighth grade. Very family supported. Andrews is a real blue ribbon school all the way around.
