Hi I go to Salesian rn and I have nothing to say but positive things. Salesian gives a lot of opportunities for it’s students from business programs, to clubs, and advance classes. It’s also very easy to talk to the admins and make your voice heard, their offices are always available and can be seen walking around on campus during lunch, break, and even sometimes after school especially when there is a game that day. I saw a comment saying it needs more security and it’s true there are no security officers but there are sports practice most days or other people on campus and so you can just relax where other people can see you. Another comment was about bad dean and I can say that I that the person isn’t our dean anymore and it’s really easy to talk to him or another admin in person or through an email. The last negative comment I saw was about students acting rude and games and I can say it is partially true. Salesian is an all boys school and the boys get competitive about sports, I myself have heard negative comments to opposing teams and I couldn’t tell if they were genuinely being mean or not. I got uncomfortable so left, do not this only happens in the Salesian’s student section so you can stay away from it as it’s on the opposite side of the entrance. That’s all I have to say and I hope you have a good day.
Salesian has proven to be a very competitive high school. As an alumni, I completed my masters, worked in the industry, taught college and both public high schools as well as private Catholic high schools. In my time, Salesian had students accepted into USC, UC universities, and diverse colleges and universities. I myself taught and/ or wrote recommendations for students in Catholic high schools who were accepted to USC, UC universities, Stanford, Cornell, Cal State universities… Students in the end are successful in all walks of diverse careers. Salesian primarily focused on the faith…everything else followed accordingly. Overall, the priests and brothers placed a strong effort in resulting with successful youth. There is always the best in everything and Salesian has resulted with some of the best!
