Whiting Woods Montessori is a wonderful school in a private home. It offers early childhood education from the Montessori method, and provides a safe and nurturing place for the children to learn and explore creativity. Rebecca Applegate and her team are a great team, with expertise in early childhood development, and seek to provide a safe, environment, for your child to learn and develop with self confidence and a sense of adventure to explore their world. I highly recommend this school.
My daughter has gone here since she was 8 months old. She turned 3 last year and Ive already cried a couple times about the day she inevitably must move on. I trust Rebecca implicitly with my child, and so appreciate the effort and care that goes into lessons and meeting children where they are using the Montessori method. When I interviewed before attending I asked her policy on discipline and she pointed to a chart about feelings and I knew I was in the right place. 10/10
