Slidell Christian Academy is the best school in St. Tammany Parish. The curriculum focuses on teaching the students and developing personal discipline all while pointing them towards Christ. These things have helped my children become excellent students beyond Slidell Christian Academy. My son is currently attending college with a full-paid scholarship studying Aerospace Engineering and my daughter is a senior in high school who is being considered for the Naval Academy. Both have a deep faith in God, strong work ethic, great study habits, and unwavering moral compass – qualities that are lacking in many of their peers. I currently have a 1st grader attending Slidell Christian Academy and continue to see the positive influence of the teachers, staff and students on his development. As when my older children attended, I continue to love to see the interaction between them all. They are truly a family – loving each other, holding each other accountable when needed and always showing grace – something that is lost sometimes in society. I highly recommend this school if you are looking for a place where your children will learn to walk in the way of Christ while also challenging them academically to be the best they can be.

Slidell Christian Academy is one of the best private Christian schools on the Northshore. I attended SCA from 2nd through 8th grade, and can honestly say it thoroughly prepared me for high school and college life. SCA provided me with a firm foundation in Christ, as well as life skills I still use to this day. The teachers equipped me with wonderful study skills and encouraged me every day to be a better student and person. The smaller class sizes allowed for more one on one instruction as well. Even now as a college student, I visit the school regularly because the staff invests in the life of their students.
