This is a very good school. Me, Personally just graduated from Abney. An I have had a little bit of mishaps with this school. But, I think that Abney would be a very good school for your children and exc. Even thow the population of the school is colored people, it will not change your child’s learning area and your child should feel welcome at all times. Personally, with my experience of 4 years at Abney I think that I will miss my Elementary School and miss Mr. Robert Mike Alford For doing a well of a job with this school and what he did to change the lives of children just like myself now, I am a well educated person and I think I did a awesome job of staying with this school.

This school has been there for my son in so many ways. If your child has special needs this is the place for you. Its a well staffed, clean and wonderful learning environment. Full of school spirit and an understanding many schools are missing now adays. My son is on the spectrum and has attended abney since pre-k. I hear so many horror stories around the area of schools not accommodating children who have needs. Not this place! From the friendly secretaries to the understanding principal, they all knew Ethan and how to help him. His teacher has helped him more than there are words and we will always be grateful to Abney Elementary for all our time there.
