This is a fabulous high school with great, highly-certified teachers and a principle that won the Principle of the Year Award for Gwinnett County. Having such excellent leadership provides students with all the tools they need to succeed. Central Gwinnett also offers a wide assortment of Advanced Placement classes that help students so much in college. This focus on college paves the way for future success in higher education. Recently, Central became a “Career Academy,” which means that students can take classes that align with their future career path. Central is an extremely diverse school, which is one of the greatest benefits of attending; everyone knows that in the workplace you will have to interact and work with all types of people from various backgrounds. I went to Central all four years and I am now at the University of Georgia.
In all honesty, Central is like no other school. The other schools in Gwinnett may view us as inferior but in reality we compete with any other school in every aspect. We have great athletic teams that consistently win awards and recognitions but most importantly countless students that GRIND extremely hard in the classroom! I admire so many of these students for their work ethic, they are the future of Georgia and they’re coming right out if Central Gwinnett.
