Pretty disappointed in the instructors here I came in wanting to get my wife a discovery flight and no one greeted us asking if they could help with anything I had to ask if there was a instructor in and one guy Awkwardly said yeah so I told him what I wanted to do for my wife and he said “let me check” and he did but not without talking to 2 to 3 people before telling me no we won’t be able to fly today but the worst part the guy talked to this girl on this couch and said these people want to do a Discovery flight and she popped back with “do they not see it’s Windy a umbrella just flew off the table” and to tell you the truth it was in fact windy but not bad enough to where we should have been grounded I would have definitely understood if they said it would be fairly bumpy and if she was nervous we could reschedule but I didn’t get any of that nor did they want to try to reschedule or take down my phone number or say I know we won’t be able to fly today but if y’all have some time I would love to give y’all a Tour of the Facility and possibly get y’all on the ramp to check out the plane
Aircraft renters and student pilots beware, this flight school is a cash grab. I am a commercial pilot with over 300 hours and was enlisted in the USAF as a logistician for aircraft will a passion for aviation, I will never come back here again. The owner, Toni, does not care about aircraft safety and does not have the student’s/renter’s goals and best interests in mind. The airplanes are so old and poorly maintained that during one of my solos I had complete radio failure on a cross country flight and had to declare an emergency. I’ve flown at multiple flight schools and have never witnessed such poor management. Aviation is not an industry where such lack of responsibility and accountability should be allowed. Who knows what could of happened have not I been more prepared. Be warned this is not a safe place to fly.
