Wesleyan has been a wonderful preschool for our youngest child. We knew we desired play-based learning for him at age 4, but we also loved that Wesleyan focused on his emotional development as well. In a family of six, the littlest can sometimes be along for the ride; Wesleyan has given our son a place to call his own and he takes so much pride in being a part of it. Id heard many great things about Wesleyans teachers and Director, and even my high expectations were exceeded during our first year. The teachers are intentional, nurturing, communicative, and creative. I gained new insights about my child because of their dedication to learning about him and engaging him in new things. Im grateful for their regular communications, the parent conferences, and for the cute photos theyd send. Were also happy to have met new families along the way; it is a great community of people. We are looking forward to another school year at Wesleyan!
We are so thankful for Wesleyan Preschool. Our children have attended for 2 years in the PK program and now attend the Transitional Kindergarten program. As a former Educator and now an Education Researcher, it was very important that we found a place for our own kids to grow and develop a love for learning through creativity and play. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable in supporting the development of the whole child and provide engaging and authentic learning experiences. Every teacher here is kind, compassionate, empathetic and strongly invests time in building relationships with students and families. The communication from the classroom is amazing. We see pictures and videos each week of our children learning and having fun and use these as conversation starters with our boys about the week. We could not imagine sending our kids anywhere else!
