Poor communication, but the teachers are great and education value is good.

1.) Covid temporary hour change became permanent . We received an email about a reduction in hours due to covid, later start time and earlier pick up time. Totally fair. We were told repeatedly it was temporary. The website reflects it is a permanent hour change and no email, flier, or communication went out.

2.) Change to enrollment, the last two years the school operated on a 9 month school session and for 2021-2022 school year it will be a 10 month session. This was not communicated prior to enrolling for summer classes or re-enrollment and was not communicated until I asked for a last date before kindergarten. Because of this change to the school year I am without childcare for a few weeks. Lack of communication. I anticipated the timeline would follow years prior.

3.) Timeliness in responses, we were told we would auto-re-enrolled if not notified otherwise. I communicated we would not be re-enrolling as my child will start kindergarten in the fall. This was not acknowledged until after the auto-re-enrollment period ended leaving me unsure if we would be charged for re-enrollment or not. The response was, “ok.” If we’ve been here a few years a, “good luck,” or anything would have been nice. But I suppose, “ok” is sufficient, just not timely. I also once inquired about an injury, days later when I never received a response and when I asked verbally I was advised they don’t “check the admin email often, email a person directly vs the administration email.”

Overall, we’ve loved several teachers here. My daughter feels secure, cared for, loved, and learned a lot.
I think there is definite education value, routine, and variety of skills from practical life, to Math, English, geography, etc.

I feel like the communication however, was mediocre before Covid, and has become poor since. We receive emails about covid positive cases in school but don’t list what classroom it was, then emails they tested again and it’s a false positive. It feels confusing and unclear. I would not have enrolled in summer sessions and looked for an alternative care solution had I known the hours and end date were different. As a whole, I feel disappointed. I had intended to send my 2 year old son here, but will now be finding care elsewhere.

Out of two years i sent my daughter to this school one year fees gone utterly wasted. First year the male teacher was not at all helping my daughter to learn anything. He used to be angry on her all the time which made her cry and scared to go to school. When asked to change class and teacher the administration didn’t really support. They want us to stick to one teacher entire year. Other year we changed the teacher and class she went. Mentioned teacher our expectations she really did great job in letting my daughter learn and stay there happy and peaceful. As the school is lot expensive we really felt we lost one year of fees. Food they provide is healthy choices but my daughter ended up not eating at all most of the days as it don’t taste better. Overall for the fees we paid we are not happy with the output.
