My kids have attended Sacred Heart since day 1. I have one in 2nd grade and another in kindergarten. They absolutely love their school. As a mother I love the family atmosphere. There isnt a family or staff member there that wouldnt do something for someone else. The preschool program is beyond amazing. My kids learned so much and had no idea because they thought they were just having fun. The elementary school is equally as amazing. My son in 2nd grade reads well above his level. If you ask him about his teacher he will tell you how encouraging, kind and patient she is. They still teach cursive handwriting. They also start Spanish young. This is something I find very important because being bilingual is huge when it comes to employment. They do STEM projects and have many after school clubs. This school is amazing and places kids at a new level when it comes to academics. I am so proud to be a part of the Sacred Heart family and couldnt imagine my kids going anywhere else.
Sacred Heart is more personable to each family and involved in the community than any school I ever attended growing up. I attended a different pre-k, different k-5, different 6th grade, 7th grade, 8th grade and then finally a different high school. Some catholic, some public. Had I been at Sacred Heart in Sedalia, my parents probably wouldnt have moved me around so much growing up (for financial and other reasons). Sending my kids to Sacred Heart and keeping them there as long as I can is one of my biggest goals as a parent.
