Jorge Mas Canosa Middle School, Miami | Fees, Rankings, Address, Admission, Vacancies, Reviews & More

I know this is long and I’m sorry but j.m.c is really that great that I had typed a whole essay on it so here I go .I graduated from Jorge mas canosa on June 7, 2012 and I can honestly say Jorge mas canosa is one of the best middle schools in Miami because its magnet in my opinion the worst thing about jmc is the dress code about tucking in your shirt thats the only thing wrong with the school. This school has great activities and field trips your child can participate in like for field trips your child can go to London, Paris, new York, Washington d.c. and Boston. the great activities your can participate in Is sprit week for turkey bowl (a football game in November only in which students from j.m.c try out to play against each other on the copper or blue team) also wacky tacky day when you dress crazy, twin day when you and a person dress alike and many more fun activates your child can participate in. As far as education go’s your child will get the best education at j.m.c because the teachers stay on top of you to help and make sure you understanding the lesson before going on to the next. there is rarely homework because you do all your work in class the only way you have homework is if you don’t finish your assignments in class. the last 15-20 minutes of class only if your done with your work you can have free time and do anything you want, use your phone, listen to music ,go to another class, or even go to sleep as long as your done with your work. at j.m.c the students are very well grounded and very respectful, polite, nice and friendly .before your child leaves j.m.c to go to high school they will have a full understanding of life and its ups and downs and to how to get back up and dust yourself off whenever you fall and to be your own person and don’t care about what people say about you and walk away from a problem instead of making it bigger. Your child will also learn how smart, talented ,and gifted they really are and how much they can achieve and how successful they can be if they set their mind to anything they believe and scribe for and they will also learn that if you really want something you should just stick your hand out and reach for it and never give up on it whether it’s your dream or something you believe in. because at Jorge mas canosa they challenge your child for life and want you to succeed that’s what everyone who has gone to Jorge mas canosa have learn for the 3 years being there. and yes there are fights at j.m.c like at all schools but barely and if there is a fight they stop it imminently because they have the best security guards and cameras to watch over your child 24/7 to make sure there out of harm’s way and keep them safe and at j.m.c there is absolutely NO BULLYING because they have consolers that care and want to help solve your problems and sit you and the person that’s bothering you down and talk to your child and them. The lunch at j.m.c is good nothing is ever gross or nasty and if you don’t want to eat school lunch j.m.c has vending machines with healthy snacks that actually taste good and are good for you too.jmc is maybe the only middle school in miami-dade that have all electives like art, p.e, music, chorus ,culinary arts sewing, yearbook, technology, and business keyboarding and many more those are just a few to choose from on the application form. I hope you send your child or your child wants to go Jorge mas canosa middle school where they will have the best fun filled, crazy ,awesome, jam pack 3 years of their life . GO PALADINS!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a current student in Jorge ma’s canosa and I have to say their food is worse than in prisons they shouldn’t even serve their dishes to people on death row cause it would be inhumane the teachers barely teach and care more about some of the dumbest rules including but not limited to tuck in shirts and water bottles. The only reason why I stay at this school is cause I have close friends there. The whole entire school is messy their boys bathroom is always filled with piss on the floors their sinks barely work their mirrors are metallic and not even are mirrors anymore.if I could I would get a health inspector to shut down this disgusting school. Btw I didn’t learn how to write like this at my current crappy aka jmc middle school
