Johnston County Schools is absolutely terrible and everything is super strict compared to every other school this is a c+ or b school sheesh it should be an F the only thing great in these schools are the programs they offer. The academics here are terrible its like teachers just hate students. their is no culture appreciation their is a little but barely. The sports are great the parents never get involved the music and arts is average to every other school. Diversity is average to every other school. College readiness is so terrible but safety is worse students are always fighting administration is worse the more rules they set the more likely students are to break them. The Food offered in the districts all taste fake I’d rather starve to death than eat their food. It sucks overall I do not recommend for parents to bring their child here
I am a concerned parent as well a spouse of a bus driver…Why is it that a day actually celebrated as New Year is being used for the modified schools here in Springfield?? They shouldn’t use the excuse of being a intercession day…That isn’t a must for students, so why make it a school day anyways?? I myself am one who spends family time during holidays, including day after New Year for recovery from Travel & all the hustle…So we can’t take another day for our family to rest & not have to worry about how well teachers, students & bus drivers may feel…I understand 180 mandatory days, but like I said intercession is NOT MANDATORY!! Could someone please help me understand why they couldn’t observe this like other Schools & Sate offices, even the Government…
