I actually really enjoyed our experience with city christian preschool. Right up until my daughter needed to begin Kindergarten and was COMPLETELY unprepared. I understand that they are a Christian organization, but my daughter came home spewing the church rhetoric. However, when I checked in during progress report time about her preparedness for Kindergarten, I was never given any feedback or cause for concern. However, when we began Kindergarten this year, my daughter could not write her name, and only knew a handful of ABC’s. The preschool teachers claimed that these are things they would work on during the school year and she didn’t need to know them going into the year. However, her Kindergarten teacher questions what exactly they were teaching. My daughter was SO unprepared. We might as well have not even done preschool. I am SO disappointed. Which is unfortunate because my daughter LOVED and bonded SO well with her teachers. Find another preschool option if you’re seeking academics. Attend this program if you’re looking for religious rhetoric.

My son has attended City for the last four years. Each teacher has played a fundamental role in his education. They work tirelessly with and for their students. They live out the love of Christ DAILY. I also have had the privilege of working on staff and never have I seen such a like-minded, spirit of excellence, loving group of people. They work so hard on building relationships and trust with their students and families – all the while, working on providing the BEST education possible. The principal, Mr Evans, a teacher himself, is passionate about the direction our school is taking. He wants to see the students and staff THRIVE — and is doing a great job of it. Our school numbers keep growing because of it! Come check City out! You’ll see!
