I am very dissapointed with this learning center I went to look at this school and all the promises they made were clearly not true. My son is currently 4-years-old and he has been a little difficult when it comes to behavior he is not agrresive at all just a little “hard-headed and set in his ways”. The daycare teacher expressed her concerns to me which is completely fine they advised I should seek help. They made it seem as if the problem was so big they couldn’t handle it but at home he was having some behavior issues but nothing that couldn’t be handled. For example they said he didn’t want to sit during circle time that he wanted to play and that if they did not let him he would cry. I took their advise and made an appointment with the pediatritian because I myself was getting upset, frustrated and anxious with the everyday complaints and concerened because I started to believe something was truly wrong with my child. The pediatritian gave me a referal to a behavior specialist and a psychologist I went to the appointments they evaluated my child both appointments were over two hours long and both gave me the same answer. “That they did not believe that my son’s issue were big enough for therapy that he just needed more redirecting and a stronger hand”. The psychologist even told me that she felt the daycare staff was being “lazy and did not want to deal with correcting his behavior”. Long story short last week Tuesday I go dropped of my child and the director pulls me to the side with the owner to “advise” me that I should look for public school to put my child in for VPK because the would deal with him better. I had it, didn’t say anything didn’t bother telling them what the psychologist said or anything I just asked for the transfer so that I may take my child to a school where they really care. To my suprse when i asked the front desl for the paper work she was like “oh I don’t have his folder for VPK ready he wasn’t on the list”. A list she had been working on since the week before meaning the owner had it planned already just hadn’t had the chance to speak to me. I have seen them interact with other parent they are EXTRMELY RUDE and CONDESCENDING when parents express their complaints and you can also tell the staff drop like flies because of the treatment I believe. They make themselves look as a great educational center yes becuse they only want to deal with “robot” like children not the ones that may need a little more attention those they kick out with no warning.
I thought a lot about doing this review. but my child was so bad after going to this school that I have to do it. Every time we talk about that school he says he hates it. A year ago he went to Interamerian in first grade with Yliana and said that she always yelled at him and said bad words to him like Hp. and the other children. I always noticed a bad attitude from her towards my child and when I greeted her she didn’t respond. I don’t know how these people come to work with children. Also the cleaning person, now I don’t remember her name, she is dark-skinned and she was always with Wendy, she has no tact to work with children, she is poorly educated and treats them badly. Until now, my child dared to tell me that this woman was calling my 7-year-old son a pig. My child says that she was listening like this woman with Yliana, they called the children and my child ugly names. I don’t know why that woman with such a horrible soul treated my child like that. My child said that he didn’t tell me when he was there out of fear. Think carefully if her children are here, everything is very nice on the outside, but if they don’t like your child, your child will have a bad time with these women.
Just because the teachers have been at this school for years doesn’t mean they are good with the kids, it’s just that the office covers everything for them. On the outside everything is very pretty but the children are treated badly.
