Over the years, Lindsey has dropped in its instruction, service, and student enrollment. With the recent administrative staff, the standards have been falling even more. There has been a big decline in enrolment and career program selections for students since the school has not met accreditation standards to continue teaching some popular vocational programs. The ESOL/ABE department are now filled with “instructors” who need to be enrolled as students in their own ESOL classes! The administration has pushed through to get the district office to allow the promotion of their preferred part-timers to full time positions. There has been an all time high resignation & early retirement rate of upset staff since the recent administration came onboard. Although the school’s outgoing reports may give an impression of progress, may be an audit needs to be done to reveal the realities. Lindsey’s good reputation for adequate instructions, clean classrooms, and well-kept premises is long gone.

Why use a student grant or financial aid to get a certificate when you have the opportunity at MDC or any community college to use that same grant or financial aid to select a career from a wide range of programs that can lead to an associates or bachelor’s degree? ESOL/ABE/GED classes at MDC or any community college are taught by well-qualified, experienced instructors with bachelor degrees and students pay the same Florida state cost. These are important decisions to think about before enrolling.

in 2020 of august we were doing online classes. they changed the login procedure without telling anyone. i couldnt sign in. i called them and they say dont worry about it. i was doing my work that i was assigned. not knowing ive been withdrawn from the school. they really withdraw people without them notifying them. who does that?! i was then hit with a bill which was lowered in the end. AT ALL COSTS,DO NOT ENROLL HERE!
