Lamb Elementary School, Tampa | Fees, Rankings, Address, Admission, Vacancies, Reviews & More

My son is currently attending this school. We are new to the Brandon, Fl area. I was skeptical about Lamb Elemetary being that this is the first year for them and no reviews for me to consider. The way staff greeted me was unpleasant. I should’ve known this wasn’t the right school for my son. My son had problems adjusting to the new school, as any new child would. (coming from another state) he receive hardly or if no support from staff. As a concern parent I reached out several times to his teachers and staff
(including principle) concerning various issues and let’s say that wasn’t a pleasant experience as well. I come from schools that love their parents to be involved or concerned about their child(ern). I love to sneak in my child’s class and see how the teachers teach and how my son receiving it. On one particular day I go to see how everything going. The staff said I had to have appointment with the teacher. So, I had words about that then she said she have to let the teacher know I’m coming. This beautiful new school need help with hiring new staff. I’m still looking for my son to be placed else where.

The school itself is amazing, the one Compaint I would have is the staff. I understand that some student may be a bit hard to handle but staff at the school is quite mean. I am a 5th grader at the school and if your child is sensitive I DO NOT recommend that he or she comes to this school because they will quickly learn to hate school, especially between 4th and 5th grade and the p.e. teacher in my opinion along with cafeteria aids, can be harsh. But if anything the people in the front desk along with the principal are absolutely terrible. But as I said the school is very nice and up to date but the main problem is staff, and some parents meet with staff and they can be kind but I know and every other student know l, they have terrible character, as in if no parent around, that are the most mean people in the world.
