This school/company ranks as the poorest educational institution in North Carolina. It suffers from disorganization, inconsistency, and a chronic inability to effectively communicate. Whether referring to Bonnie Cone Classical Academy or the newer Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy, they tarnish the reputation of charter schools. Regrettably, they lack the necessary resources to support students requiring extra assistance. Their primary focus seems to be merely increasing enrollment to secure funding. If it were possible, I would assign zero stars. I strongly advise keeping your child enrolled in their current school rather than transferring them here. Teacher and principal turnover surpasses that of any other institution. My child has been attending since first grade, and I’ve reached my limit. Sean Waters embodies rudeness and unprofessionalism, fitting right into Bonnie Cone’s reputation. The silver lining lies in the after-school program (TeamTurse) and a teacher named Mrs. Howe, whom I hope finds a more appreciative and supportive environment.
I have been very impressed right the education, staff and organization of this school! We have been at another great charter and were concerned with this school being newer. I’m so happy my daughter is at this school and so is my daughter. She was determined she was not going to like it, but she enjoys going to school, loves her teachers and has made a lot of friends. The curriculum is excellent and she is excelling both socially and academically.
