As a previous student at Aspen View Academy I do agree that the curriculum is fantastic here, but there is a significant lack of help and knowledge of the staff for kids with learning disabilities. I have experienced the help any student with learning disabilities would have and any help or visible effort to better my learning experience was not seen. Although the staff did try to help, there is not a true professional working there that has good experience with helping learning disabled children. If your child has any learning difficulties whatsoever, I would not suggest your child attends this school. However, if your child has no difficulty learning, this is a great school with a awesome staff and great a curriculum.
I absolutely hate this school. Its dosent even deserve one star. I went here since kindergarten and left in 7th grade because I mentally could not go through the last year. The teachers are terrible and dont help with childrens mental health. Mrs. Ness was an amazing counselor and possibly the only good person there. I was constantly bullied and no one did anything about it. The girls are awful and mean. Ive switched to Mesa and its much better than Ava despite being a public school.
