I first would like to say the Principal Ms. Fortner is rude and not a people person. She’s a Bully and HAS no care in the world for the kids best interest. I went to drop my lil ones off at school. She had the nerve to chase me down while i was in my car, to tell me my kids don’t belong at DEEP CREEK CENTRAL school. WHO DOES THAT?? MS. FORTNER THE HORRIBLE PRINCIPAL. The communication is awful. They kicked my daughter out of school because we were going to move in the school zone and then we decided not live in that area.. In stead of letting my daughter finishing out the school year.. they kicked her out. My daughter is a special needs and they just pretty much kicked her to the curb.
The front desk people are lazy and rude and the sit there all day eating in front of you when you there to get answer and they make you wait so they can finish there food.
I am completely satisfied with the quality of education at Deep Creek Central Elementary. This is not based on one teacher. This is based on every teacher I have encountered for three children, including the Special Education Department. The standards are high for all students and the teachers are always willing to assist.
