Went here in 2012-2013. The cosmetology program was awful. Our first teacher was retiring so all she had us do was pedicures on her. Our second year teacher was a great stylist, but had no teaching experience and was unprofessional and encouraged drama. She only taught us how to do the one cut required to pass our certification training. When several students went to the principal to talk about the teacher’s unprofessional behavior, the principal took it as a critique of his hiring capabilities and became very angry and offended. Did not learn anything in this class except how to do perm sets and pedicures. A lot of the products we used were expired and some tools were broken. Glad I didn’t have to pay tuition but my parent’s did have to pay for mannequin heads and kits.
Very Unprofessional. HVAC teacher worries more about classroom rules than students saftey in lab. Will write refferals efferals over simple things. First sign of anything wrong the school trys to set up a meeting with parents which is unprofessional to those students who are 18 they should only be talking to the students about problems. Would not recommend to students.
