I am a student of this school and it has degraded compared to when I first got there. staff I feel like they have become so unprofessional and will not respond to your emails unless threatened by administration and when they do write you a response it is often rude and dismissive with some teachers also just leaving in the middle of the lesson. There has also been a degrade of the teaching quality I felt like I have learnt nothing from this year of school at all with my FAST testing scores have gone down dramatically and my grades and I can give reasons why this happened to, The teachers often will prioritize the girls by giving them more help and letting get away with cheating and letting them use their phones and other ways to cheat and they will also teach specific students while leaving the other students in the dust which might not sound like a big problem in science or reading but in a subject like math where skill build on top on each other it becomes a problem. There is also a big bullying problem in the school with racial slurs being said often and people throwing pencils giving other students scars as the teacher just watches. To sum it all this school is corrupt

My children were the very first to be accepted into this supposedly higher learning educational program. My daughter went from straight As to failing due to covid, having to quarantine and not to mention the teaching was at best mediocre. She suffered with being bullied to the point we had to involve the school board along with them threatening to remove my daughter for “missing too many days” due to her being repeatedly exposed to covid because of our govenors policy on pretending there is no covid. They’ve put my child at risk and are now bullying her to be removed so they can keep their A rating. This school is completely pushing out the kids who’s parents USE their voice to ensure they follow policy. This is retaliation for us standing up for what’s right and protecting our child. Shame on you DAS for putting your reputation before a child’s future learning. This school is notorious for keeping bullies and pushing the victims out. My son was a DAS student and is now at a different school with straight As which he never accomplished at DAS, it’s not the children it’s the school. This school is absolutely absurd and disgraceful.
