Explore is an amazing project-based learning school. I’m a former teacher and cannot speak more highly of the curriculum and approach to pedagogy. They have a new principal this year who is absolutely fantastic (Ms. Jarrett-Thorpe) and their curriculum director (Ms. Talbot) is a genius. Our kids love it, they’re happy, they get a diversity of students to be friends with, and they’re excited about learning.
My daughter is in 2nd Grade at Explore and I have a hard time imagining her being in a better place to grow, learn and form a community with her peers. She gets to interact with kids from all races and socio-economic backgrounds, with teachers that mold their curriculum to each students specialties. If you have a young child and want to give them a new way to learn, give Explore a try!
