According to their website, Mr. Faulkner’s Driving School can accommodate 40 students. Even with 40 students, it would be a tight fit in the small facility. He enrolled 53 students the week I registered and paid for my daughter to attend. She said it was awful and that they were on top of each other. I called Mr. Faulkner after the first day and he offered to give me a refund because he could tell I was not happy. I told him that I would appreciate that because I didn’t feel comfortable sending her back there. This was on July 6, 2015. My last interaction with Mr. Faulkner was on July 11th. He called me to say that he would bring my refund to my house on Monday, July 13th. It is July 19, 2015 and I still haven’t received the promised refund.

After involving a third party, Mr. Faulkner finally gave me a refund on July 27, 2015.

On a positive note, I found a fabulous driving school for my daughter in Monroe, NC. She had a great experience. She was one of 22 students.

I love teaching students driver education.Driving is simple but complex. There are 4 classifications of roads. A 2 lanes, 4 lanes, 6 lanes and 8 lanes roads. You will get a minimum of 32 intersections that a student must understand how to perform the 6 major driving skills: 1. U-turn 2. Lane change, 3 Protected or unprotected left turns, 4 Roundabouts, 5 Right turns. on a red light, and merging onto a major highway. Students must understand the Smith System of Driving, the IPDE Process and the 6 point checking plan. The majority of accidents involving new drivers occur at intersections. Critical thinking, vision and understanding the importance of creating space and time when driving.
