I love GnarWare! I even moved to Pilsen last year so I could be closer to GnarWare. I’ve been a studio member for 2 years, and it has been the best decision I made for myself. I started by taking an introductory Hand-building class taught by the managing owner, Liz, and I’ve been hooked ever since! My friends and family love it when I make them bowls.
GnarWare studio techs (shout out to Frenchy and Ike) are incredibly helpful and friendly. They’re invested in your projects and always ready to trouble-shoot with you. I love it when Liz shows me something cool and new to try out with my ceramics. On top of that, I’ve met some really cool and interesting people here and seeing their work have inspired me! If you are looking to try out a new hobby or rekindle your old interest, this is the perfect place to explore ceramics.
we had schedule a class for 9/27/2020 at 7-9 and we arrived at 6:45pm. We were told that there was a glitch in the system and the class was not ever offerred at the time… how is that when possible? horrible service, will never set foot in this place.

I hope we get a refund as I told the person we’re definitely going to let people know how the business is run, to which she responded with “that sounds like a blackmail”. Blackmail for what? we’re never coming back after this incident. We were very excited to get long term pottery a chance (been to 2 different ones before but far) but that’s all out the window. Thanks for ruining our weekend
