This school is HORRIBLE. Super ghetto school ! I am not sure how it’s rated so high ?? Maybe by people alike ?! I am actually taking my child out of this school it’s so bad! The principle is a nice lady but Uhhh I would never think she’s a principle ! Not very professional and doesn’t dress like a principle should dress. There are ghetto apartments across the street so you always see ” thugs” walking in front of school property … CUSSING LEFT AND RIGHT and they don’t care what the school staff tells them!
The kids are horrible there too… They BULLY call names act super ghetto… Scream.. Fight with each other … And staff doesn’t punish them. I was there during lunch a few times so I know!
Anyways….. Very disappointed that my zip code matched this school ;(( choose cottage elementary if you can!
Special education so far from last year was good. My 3 year old son seem to always be happy coming home and excited to show me what he made. Happy to go back to school too. I have seen a change in his speech from the beginning of the program and to now. Speech delay. I feel it is helping a lot. 5 stars to how wonderful the special education teachers and teachers aids are with my son. As for the rest of the school, I cannot speak for. But I do feel the school should take a look into the reviews. Parents care for there children and their surroundings. Safety first.
