5/15/22 my son had a visit with urgent care over the weekend for a cold and fever. Doctor gave a note for him to return to school on Monday. Tuesday the school nurse calls me to inform me of how congested he was and I said I was aware but the doctor deemed him ok to go to school and had a doctors note. The school nurse then proceeds to call me again to tell me that the principal needed me to come over to the school to perform a rapid Covid test on my son. I asked couldnt the nurse do it considering her qualifications and they said no. I had to drive 30 minutes from work to the school all to get a negative Covid test in order for my son to stay in school the rest of the day and then drive 30 minutes back to work, wasting my time when they could have conducted the rapid test on my son, I was livid. Obviously if my son had Covid the doctor would not have given the ok for my son to go back to school. There should be more consideration for these things
this school constantly does presentations about how bullying is wrong and yet they let kids get bullied and hell even the teachers join in. Also the vice principal is really annoying and the accelerated math teacher is a weirdo. The new 8th grade history teacher genuinely does not know how to teach and just steals all the assignments from the other history teacher. The male PE teacher is awful and makes kids do presentations instead of actual physical activity?? Also they let a lot of bad kids get away with things. like how one time a kid was throwing a live(dead after being thrown a few times)roach at people and when they were asking the proctors for help and were freaked out they were told to calm down its just a bug what.
