We’ve been going to Main Street swim in Encinitas/Oceanside for almost a year (moved here from WA state and picked this company based on online reviews, so paying it forward) and can’t say enough good things about them. The instructors are great with my kids, who can be shy at times. Some days they have a hard time getting in the water and the teachers always do a great job making swimming fun and exciting and getting them in the pool. Even when new instructors start, the experienced instructors great kids and helped with the transition. Furthermore, this is the only activity my kids are on that they get a token for make up classes. So if we have to miss a class for sickness (which happens frequently with a 5 and 3 year old) or we’re out of town, we get a token to make up that class. We ended up saving a lot of our tokens to use over the summer months and went to classes twice a week. My now 5 year old is swimming independently for short distances. They’ve both made amazing progress this year and feel so much safer having a pool in our backyard with them in lessons and learning water safety. Not to mention the owner of locations we go to is an amazing human. My kids also love the sticker they get after their lesson for the hard work. Love this place and would recommend it to anyone!

We absolutely love Main Street Swim School in Oceanside. We started with Coach London and she really is the sweetest most patient instructor. Our little one absolutely adores her. She explains everything to our little one and is helping him build confidence with swimming and getting water anywhere near his face. She exudes empathy and warmth.
