My years at Piedmont were the best 3 years of my life. I had excellent teachers in every class from 6th to 8th grade. Some of my favorites (and the very best) include Mr. Booth, Mrs. Gorman, Ms. Madan, Mr. Clark, Mrs. Bell and Mrs. Callahan. Piedmont’s staff work hard to make sure that each student is in a safe and positive learning environment and gets exactly what they need. And, most importantly, Piedmont prepares you for your high school career. Although the work may seem like a lot, you will definitely be prepared for the very rigorous IB diploma program. Piedmont also has excellent activities for their students to participate in, such as the robotics club, National Junior Honor Society, band and orchestra (Forbis and Winegardner are awesome!) and Science Olympiad (which I had the privilege of participating in, and it was truly AMAZING!!!). The sports teams and the coaches (Milligan, Ashley and Fatz mostly) are also wonderful. If you go to Piedmont, or are given the opportunity to, you should be very thankful. Piedmont is an incredible school. Piedmont isn’t just a place where you learn, and the people there aren’t just your friends, the school and its students and staff are your FAMILY! Once a pirate, always a pirate. PIEDMONT, YOU KNOW!

I am currently an 8th grader here, and my experience so far has been amazing. There is absolutely no other school like Piedmont. 6th grade was fun, exciting but a learning experience, if you dont buckle down and do your homework and your work you will be lost. the first year i was hesitant and biased about going here but Without even realizing it I claimed this school as my home. There is so much diversity at this school and it is amazing to be around so many different types of people. 7th grade was strict, but i learned so much and maybe a taste of real life. 8th grade is so so AMAZING! My teachers are callahan, immel, adornato, and styles. they are all very accessible to ask questions and are very helpful and nice. It feels like I know their personality. I love all my teacher and since I don’t move with my homebase anymore it’s an ever better experience. If you cant decide to go to piedmont or your homeschool, just consider the choices of what piedmont can offer you.
