I’m heartbroken my son is in Pre K and his teacher always was nice so we thought. The other day my son comes home and says the teacher grabbed his ear..which was odd because she hugs him all the time. He has never said that about anyone or any teacher. I don’t use physical violence. I of course told the teacher I was concerned because a teacher grabbed his ear. She immediately let me know it was her and she didn’t tugged it but was showing him to use his listening ears like the elephant. I haven’t said anything to my son but as his mother I just questioned the teacher. I knew something was off because she immediately started to explain herself. Knowing this new information I still didn’t say her name to my son but I asked him what happens when when you don’t listen to your teacher .He looked down to the ground and called his teacher by name and said she grabbed my ear when I don’t listen I showing no emotions because I don’t want to upset him said ok show me what the teacher did to your ear. He walks up to me and pinches the top of my ear.i said ok let me see your ear. I looked and sure enough I see a nail mark in the same place he pinched my ear . I wouldn’t have known but hes been not wanting to go to school..wetting the bed and having nightmares. I sent him to school to learn. I trusted you but you went and did this. I’m so hurt because my son 4 years old cannot defend himself. No child deserves to be physically controlled in any way. She says he doesn’t listen but you send owls showing he’s being good home every day. We will be taking the necessary steps to protect our son.
My daughter was in 4th grade Mrs. Sarkozi’s class and she was great! This is a wonderful school and these teachers truly care about their students. My daughter loved this school too bad we have to move. I would recommend this school to any one. No complaints from me. The staff are very professional and the principal and vice principal have an open door policy. They encourage parent involvement and Mrs. S always called or text me about my daughter. She went above and beyond. As a parent you want to know your child is safe and are getting a quality education they truly deserve. I encourage any parent to enroll you child at Montclaire.
