The teachers (not all) most are so lazy it’s really so shocking because I don’t know who let them be part of a school especially with troubled teens. Students are allowed to come high to class and the teacher makes jokes about it, might give a warning but what is a warning to these students right? The teacher that gives schedules seems to have an attitude when you need assistance. The lady in the front office is so lovely and the only teacher I have that seems to care about her job is the English teacher Ms.sholtie “I might have spelled that wrong, my apologies” they “check” bags but they really just look inside and that’s it, phones aren’t allowed but students can sneak them through the door while they walk in but after that they have it out. I was so shocked at how this school does things because it seems that they are more worried about re-enrollment and not students actually graduating for that year. I been at this school for a bit and I have heard nothing about tutoring, extra classes opportunities, etc. But everyday I hear about “who’s gonna re-enroll. NO ONE WANTS TO CAME BACK BECAUSE ITS SO BAD. I’m a student who is just trying to graduate early, I cause no trouble, and I have really just learned that this school is desperate for students to re-enroll.
Please fix this school and TRY to help kids graduate, it’s a teachers job to motivate students in school not just give up because students are hard headed.
I work across the street from this “campus” and have to ask students to move on a daily
Basis to not loiter and not smoke pot by our back door; some comply willingly and others do not. The school does not listen to our concerns . They tell us to call the police, what the hey? Is the school they are enrolled responsible to control them, or not. It is during lunch hour, but school hours. the kids know they can not be made to respect the do not trespass signs. Is this a place of learning? Or just a you parents paying for daycare. They have no respect and the police should not have to be diverted to respond to these delinquents. These children are either our future homeless or the next generation of criminals… shame on you Just shame on you I would revoke you charter on what behavior of you students and the response of your administration for asking for respect of neighboring businesses
