I’ve had 3 kids go to school here. It’s been a few years ago. It was decent then. There was communication between parents and teachers. As I’m seeing my nieces attend this school, I’m so not looking forward to my other child to attend this school. I’ve been in contact with administration at this school. In my opinion the way administration handles different situations will reflect on how smoothly the school will run. Administration, especially the principal, does not handle situations professionally and/or efficiently. I have seen a case of bullying be completely ignored. A student struggling with a subject and even ask the teacher for help and be told “too bad, you better keep up”. A student who contemplated suicide and the staff was let in on this but yet no action taken. A student try to stop a fight, thinking it was the right thing to do, and in thinking it was the right thing to do ends up getting suspended for getting involved. I speak Spanish fluently, but I still find it upsetting that the principal cannot carry a full conversation in English neither face to face nor via email. She quickly becomes flustered and that’s when you get waved off as if you were one of the students in the office asking what they think is an important question. Yes, I’ve watched the kids at bus stops, and, yes, a lot of these kids are great kids, but it doesn’t take much to spoil a bunch. I realize that a lot of these kids have problems with attitude, respecting others, and authority, and it comes from somewhere. It starts at home. We as parents need to teach our kids and be firm. Our kids acting disrespectful and like they don’t care I’m sure tires these teachers out. We should not be looking to always blame the teachers. It’s not always their fault. After all they are only human.
Parents This School Is Bad I Have Heard That Kids In This School Smoke And It’s Not Good Plus There’s Bullying Here And The Princpal And Staff Don’t Do Nothing About It.
