Ok let me just start by saying this…in my entire life, I had never been to a more dirty, and violent school than this. That’s not to say schools in more dangerous cities are not safe, but in terms of schools in Iowa I have been to, this is the most disgusting and dirty out of the small bunch. Let me address the dirty part of this school…The school is dirty, I get that schools can’t stop the inevitable bugs and rats, but this is ridiculous, I swear I saw at least one of each just about every day. The janitors barely clean, and the lunchrooms are muggy and hot, like they dont have any vents in there. The food is atrocious. What kind of school serves moldy hamburger buns to students? It’s not hard to check for mold on bread. From the 2 years I was there, there was a disgusting stain from someone throwing a pizza, it had started to smell, and right up until my last year there, it was STILL there. Now to address the staff. Bullying and harrassment is a major problem, especially against the LGBT kids and the “Nerds”. And what do the teachers do? They say to the students getting bullied, “it’s not nice to tattle on someone” which is absolutely ridiculous. The Principals are bad at their job and so are the teachers, it feels like this school is long past repair. I applaud a few of the teachers for standing up to students, but there is little they can do sadly. I swear there was a fight about every day there and it was ridiculous. I’m glad I moved after my sophomore year, cause I was NOT staying in that dump of a school another year.

This review is only for the auditorium.
The seating is divided nicely and the lighting is done well. The sound system is very nice for a high school. I was surprised about how nice it was.
