As a father with both an 18-month-old and a 3-year-old enrolled at Guidepost Montessori School, I can confidently say that this institution has exceeded my expectations on every level. The toddler program for our 18-month-old is nurturing and stimulating, providing a safe environment where exploration and curiosity are encouraged. Similarly, the preschool program for our 3-year-old is comprehensive and engaging, fostering independence and a love for learning from an early age. Shout out to Ms. Karly and Ms. Amanda for being such awesome, loving guides to our girls. They love you!
The Montessori approach they employ is outstanding. It fosters independence, creativity, and a love for learning in each child. The classrooms are thoughtfully designed to encourage exploration and discovery, and the materials provided are engaging and developmentally appropriate.
What sets Guidepost Montessori apart is their unwavering commitment to each child’s individual growth and development. The teachers take the time to understand the unique strengths and needs of every student, providing personalized attention and support. It’s truly heartwarming to see how much they care about each child’s success.
Furthermore, the communication between the school and parents is excellent. I always feel informed and involved in my child’s education journey. The transparency and openness of the staff create a strong sense of community, where everyone feels valued and respected.
Overall, I cannot recommend Guidepost Montessori School highly enough. It’s a place where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. If you’re looking for an enriching educational experience for your child, look no further than Guidepost Montessori!
When he first started, because hed been exclusively home with me for his first 2.5 years, he was uncomfortable and had a LOT of separation anxiety. The staff at guidepost handled this so tenderly, not only for him and his transition, but for mine too. They made sure no matter what that he felt supported and welcomed and heard, and theyd send me texts, photos, and voice notes ALL DAY for MONTHS ensuring me that shortly after I left every day, he was flourishing.
The staff at this school is second to none, and care so deeply for each family in this school. We are constantly greeted on a genuinely personal level, and all of our specific preferences and beliefs are held and taken care of respectfully.
Fast forward 6 mos since my son has started, & I dont even recognize him (in the best of ways). He is THRILLED each morning to go to school. He tells me that Im taking too long and were going to be late for school He adores his guides, hes actually starting to make friends and play with other kids his age (he used to be very uncomfortable with children his own age), and comes home with wild understanding of subjects I cant imagine a 3 year old being immersed in. He corrected my use of country vs continent and it was humbling
I could honestly go on and on about this school and what its done for our son & our family. Greatest investment weve ever made. Well be sending our second son as soon as he is 2.5 as well.
