I’m currently attending Prospect Hill Academy as a student and I can say with ease that this school is horrible.

From the disrespectful students to the lack of genuine problem solving of the teachers, and the very FEW good teachers who are constantly disrespected in their own classrooms.

• Incident Reports : 300+ for the year of 2024 as well as a lack of ability to properly work in a classroom and a large inability to properly act as a whole, filled to the brim with lackluster athletes who think they’re gonna make it in life.

• Plagiarism : Multiple students have been copying off of others who actively try to focus in the learning environment, and are passing purely by that and asking other students for the answer just to do none of the work themselves and yell throughout the class. These same students take every opportunity to try and get their way out of doing the work, and a majority of them are failing, and the few that aren’t are the plagiarists I am speaking of.

• Education : The actual teachers at this school are surprisingly not lackluster for the horrible environment they have to deal with and actively putting out work just for these said students to do none of it and instead make noise and disrupt other classes.

• Going Outside :SHOCKINGLY ( not very much so ) students mentioned earlier have an obsession with going outside during active working classes, to the point that there was an entire section of a grade-wide meeting about this.

For any mother or father looking to put their child into this school, from a student who is attending this ‘learning environment’ I don’t recommend it, but there are always bound to be setbacks in life so don’t take my opinion to heart, this is merely my experience at the school that I have written down to show examples of what they MAY be getting themselves into.

80% of the teachers there are horrible they act as if the students are blessed to be taught by them and if a student gets fed up with a teachers arrogance they get in serious trouble just for saying that they are people and they demand respect. This school doesn’t have detention but does give out yellow slips which are a little too easy to get teachers just hand them out like free samples when I was visiting I saw a student who sat in her bio class quietly and was accused of talking when in fact it was a different student who was talking so the bio teacher told the girl who was quiet and paying attention to stop talking now and all she said was That wasn’t me I’ve been paying attention and the teacher said talking back just earned you a yellow slip which goes on your permanent record and they shouldn’t yes you should punish them if they act up but it shouldn’t go on their permanent records until junior to senior year by then their brains a developed more especially the decision making part of the brain which isn’t developed when they are younger than 16 and a half fellow parents please read this and take these up with the school board thank you
