The worst school ever. My child was discriminated against singeled out and lied on by the principal Marjorie Iven. She refused getting him an IEP because it would not look good on the schools records for their funding. She pretended as though she wasn’t informed my child was bi polar and suffering from ADHD and when she was told again she then started stating things that weren’t true at all. Things no other school mentioned nor had problems with. She fails to communicate properly with the parents of the students and she’s very judgemental. If I could do things differently I would have never placed my child in that terrible poor excuse for a school. Building is old and run down needs updating…
My child has attended this school for 1 1/2 yrs and my review is personal but true. This school is great for children without any learning disabilities! My 7 year old child has a mild case of ADHD and Mrs Ivan suspended my child for three days for being “too hyper”. Not only did she suspend him but the police were called because she couldn’t “handle” my child. If you truly care for your child’s well being and they suffer from a learning deficit, Overholser isn’t experienced in this area at ALL so don’t waste your time or energy!
