It’s not like you have supportive roles at this school either, counselors either try to deflect the problem, ignore it, or tell you to go back to class. One counselor, who I won’t name, told me that nobody likes to be around an “Eeyore” all the time. You know, the sad character in Winnie the pooh?
I’ve been an easy target for bullying my whole life, and I don’t know what made me decide to switch to online schooling, but I will do so once I finish my junior year of high school.
I can finally work up the courage to say that Palmer High School wasn’t really suitable for me, and I don’t recommend sending your child to school here unless they want to get harassed like I did, but I doubt they’d want to.
Security; Melika, Eric.and Andre know the kids by name and usually help kids before they get into trouble.
Admin Ms Disney and her staff at Palmer listen to the students and make balanced judgements. They help problem solve not just punish.
If you want to get a high school diploma these folks will do everything they can to get you there.
