I was new to town and I found Logan’s school. I wanted a mani-pedi and asked about the services. I was directed to a student who initially seemed to know what she was doing. Then everything went wrong. The polish she used was old and gooey. When I asked about it, she said, it would settle with the top coat. Well…it didn’t. Not only that, she did not know how to polish nails. I was very upset and then they wanted to charge me full price. I wanted to speak with the owner, but she never even came out of her office and the staff would not let her know that I had a problem. My nails on both my hands and feet were AWFUL!!! They looked better before I went in this establishment. STAY AWAY for mani-pedi’s because apparently, they do not teach this at this school. I will not ever be returning, and now I am afraid to even try them for hair as well.
I graduated from Logans Academy of Cosmetology earlier this month and I can only speak great things about this school. When I came here I had left Sumter Career Center in the cosmetology program and I was defeated and broken. But coming to this school Mrs. Janette Logan built me back up and revived my dreams of becoming a hairstylist. She helped me achieve my goals to then achieve my dream. So thank you Mrs. Janette for never giving up on me and having my back. I highly recommend this school if anybody wants to go to cosmetology school.
