If you arent a White football player, you might as well not come here. The curriculum is a joke, nothing challenging at all. I had a math class that I never did any of the homework in, and the teacher still gave me an A. There are virtually no clubs. Getting involved in sports is impossible unless you are recruited.
The students are very rude to each other and extremely segregated. There is a clear distinction of the Hispanic circle, black circle, and white circle at lunch and everywhere else on campus.
There is essentially no diversity among faculty. Not a single black teacher, Asian, Indian, etc.
A lot of the classes are ran by inexperienced coaches or teachers with shallow credibility
The curriculum is not difficult at all, and quite often the teachers like to teach using curriculum related TV shows or YouTube videos to teach the class. How would you feel if your $12,000 tuition (increasing by the year) was being given to teachers who teach using YouTube videos? Couldnt your son just watch YouTube videos at home?
The Saint Rita propaganda is We are a Brotherhood Dont believe it. The faculty never supported me during my time there. Favoritism is quite evident and those same students are glorified and given recognition 24/7.
It is also important to know that the tuition that you are spending is going to be used to build a 2.5million dollar fitness facility in 2018-2019 year. Im not going to list all the better things 2.5million dollars could be spent on.
Hidden costs:
Extremely expensive lunch (Your going to spend at least $50 a week on lunch or $1,500 for a school year.)
$2-$5 apps for iPads that are never used
iPad $400-$1,000
$100 parking pass
Now besides all the negative things listed, The old saying is you get out what you put in. So I guess just make the best of it. But just know Saint Rita is truly a fake for profit school.
