I am now a grandmother to a wonderful spunky little boy, that is almost 4 years old. My own children have gone to a few different schools districts as they grew and then graduated. My daughter is currently in 9th grade with A’s, well on her way to graduating. I am so impressed with South Milwaukee Schools, but especially with Blakewood Elementary school and Mrs. Hansen in the 3k room and her wonderful classroom team. The way my grandson has thrived and opened up and is learning so much, brings a tear to my eye. When he was almost 2 years old we noticed that he had completely regressed. He was then diagnosed with Autism. I would also like to send a special thanks to all of the therapists that have worked with my grandson Miguel. If it wasn’t for this amazing team and all of their daily hard work, I don’t know where my grandson would be, emotionally, physically and mentally. I can’t wait until 4k, to see how much Miguel is going to continue to thrive and grow. Tracy Nickens
