I am a student here, the school barely opened Sep 2019 I believe so obviously it’s still in its beta stage. There is a lot of room for improvement for sure! At orientation they admitted to being understaffed, and the staff I’ve encountered so far isn’t very approachable. I have been to both locations and they are both very clean, organized, and a great place to focus due to lack of noise and distraction. I do wish though that they would try to incorporate some sort of social activities because doing online school can push students into a habit of being antisocial. I understand that this is meant for school and focus, but I feel like both locations just lack life, despite being full of students.
I am Currently a student at the East location and i would like to say i mind my business and go in every day and just do my work and keep to myself. Until today the science coach came up to me and started to accuse me of cheating and when i proved i didnt do such a thing he decided to insult me and continue to push the situation to the next level. I belive as a student who has already left normal schooling and decided to continue his education in the Acceleration Academy program i should be treated with respect as i do to the staff but for the Science coach to basically disrespect me i believe that to be highly unexceptable.
