I am looking into theatrical/ performance makeup but wanted to take a regular makeup artistry course to get the basics down first and get some experience working on other people. This class was more than I could have imagined and I loved everything about it. The teachers I had, Marlena and assistant Victor, are very supportive and patient and always willing to help out in any way they can. They bring lots of light and laughter into the seriousness of the class and it is comforting to not feel under so much pressure with their sense of humor and ability to communicate efficiently while also making the class fun. The classes are easy to follow along with and each class we got lots of time to practice hands on at the end. Overall I am very happy with my experience here and would recommend to anyone whether youve never done makeup before or think you are a pro already:) You can always learn something new!
I searched for so long for the right academy that will be adding to my experience and filling the gabs. Everyone in the school staff is amazing, caring and attentive. My instructor Marlena is very fun, knowledgable and very hands on. She listens to our concerns and guide us through to a comfort level. Christy also is amazing and gives us lots of tips and tricks from her own experience. Axel is the founder very humble and makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome. I had great time learning there and i wish i found about this school sooner!!
